By Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy
Directed by Dr. Danny Devlin
April 3-6, 7:30 PM
April 7, 2:30 PM

Bismarck State College Theatre is proud to present "Heathers: The Musical". Based off the cult classic 80's film "Heathers," this musical adaptation by Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde) and Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, Desperate Housewives), is a dark, riotous and unforgettable comedy about the living hell that is the American high school. Cleverly adapted with unforgettable and catchy songs, "Heathers: The Musical" is going to be the theatrical event of the year in Bismarck/Mandan!

Due to some subject content, this production is intended for high school audiences and older.

Bismarck State College Theatre and the BSC Drama Club, in collaboration with the Humanities North Dakota, as part of the HumanitiesND year-long "Game Changer Ideas Festival,” and with the North Dakota Council on the Arts, is pleased to present the Short Play Festival 2019, an annual part of the BSC ArtsQuest programming.
For the first time ever, the Short Play Festival is the result of a national ten-minute play competition being operated through Bismarck State College, along the HumanitiesND Game Changer Idea Festival 2019 theme “What Happened to the American Dream?”
Over 300 brand new ten-minute plays were submitted for consideration from all over the country and were whittled down to the best of the best by a team of BSC students, faculty, staff, and community members. BSC directing students then read and selected play from the remaining pool of scripts to cast, rehearse, and perform.
The Short Play Festival 2019 is sure to be a thought-provoking, challenging, moving, and edgy night of theatre for everyone!
Admission is free, and seating is extremely limited. For more information about the Short Play Festival 2019, please visit the Facebook event
